Mimo

Privacy Policy

MIMO ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use MIMO (the "Application") and this website.

1. Data Collection and Purpose

We collect data strictly to facilitate the creation of Property Condition Reports.

Core Data: We collect still photographs, voice dictation recordings, geo-location data (GPS coordinates at the exact moment of photo capture), IP addresses, and device metadata.

Permissions: The Application only accesses your device's camera, microphone, and location services while the app is actively open and the inspection workflow is engaged. We do not engage in continuous background tracking.

Website: If you join the waitlist or contact sales on this website, we store the details you submit (email, name, company, message) solely to respond to you and notify you about the launch.

2. The "Incidental Capture" Warning & User Obligation

Sensitive Personal Information: You are strictly prohibited from capturing photographs or dictating audio that contains Sensitive Personally Identifiable Information (PII), including but not limited to financial documents, passwords, government identification cards, or identifiable individuals (especially minors).

Disclaimer: We do not actively scan user-uploaded photographs for incidental PII. If you inadvertently upload a photograph containing sensitive personal artifacts, you assume all privacy risks associated with that upload.

3. Third-Party AI Sub-Processors

External Processing: To generate transcriptions and compile reports, the Application securely transmits raw image and audio data to third-party Artificial Intelligence sub-processors.

Training Data Exclusion: Our agreements with these sub-processors stipulate that your specific photographs and audio files are not utilized to train their public machine-learning models. Your data is processed ephemerally solely to return the structured ledger to you.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may share your information:

• With the counter-party of your lease agreement (e.g., sharing the Tenant's uploaded photos with the Landlord) as the core function of the Application.

• To comply with legal obligations, court orders, or law enforcement requests.

• With essential service providers (cloud hosting, payment processors) who are bound by strict confidentiality agreements.

5. Data Retention and Destruction

Escrow Lifespan: Condition Reports and their underlying raw data are stored securely on our servers for a period equating to the active lease duration, plus a mandatory legal buffer of three (3) years to accommodate delayed arbitration or litigation.

Right to Erasure: While users may request account deletion, we reserve the right to retain signed Condition Reports if deleting them would illegally destroy mutual evidence belonging to a counter-party (e.g., a Tenant cannot unilaterally delete a signed move-in report without the Landlord's explicit written consent).

6. Contact Us
